Privacy Policy
margnOS is operated by Anderson Asset Group LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the margnOS desktop and mobile applications and the margnos.com website (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Account and business information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form), and the business profile you provide (business name, address, website, and support email) used on your listings, labels, and receipts.
Inventory and sales data
The Service stores the inventory, photographs, listings, sales, and financial records you create in it — including item details, costs, sale prices, fees, shipping amounts, and settlement status.
Marketplace connections
To list and sync items you connect your own eBay and/or WooCommerce seller accounts. Credentials you provide for these integrations are stored encrypted and are used only to perform the actions you request (listing, delisting, syncing sold orders).
Payment information
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details; we receive only subscription status and billing metadata (for example, the last four digits and renewal dates).
Usage and diagnostics
We collect limited technical data — such as application errors and feature usage events — to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

- Perform the marketplace and AI actions you initiate
- Send service messages (verification, password reset, billing)
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your inventory or sales data to train AI models.
3. How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:
- Infrastructure: Supabase (database, authentication, storage)
- Payments: Stripe (subscription billing)
- Email: Zoho Mail (transactional email delivery)
- AI features: Google Gemini, when you invoke AI listing or pricing features (the item details you submit for that request)
- Marketplaces: eBay and WooCommerce, to perform the listing and sync actions you request
- Legal: when required by law or to protect rights and safety
4. Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account (available in the app under Settings), your organization's data — inventory, finances, photos, and integrations — is deleted from our systems, except where we must retain records to meet legal or accounting obligations.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted per organization: your data is visible only to members of your organization. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address issues.
6. Your choices and rights
- Access & correction: most data is visible and editable in the apps
- Export: the financial ledger can be exported to CSV at any time
- Deletion: delete your account from within the app; organization owners' deletion removes the organization's data
- Marketing email: none — we only send service-related messages
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA). Contact us to exercise them.
7. Cookies
The margnos.com website uses only the cookies and local storage necessary for it to function (for example, during checkout). We do not use advertising cookies.
8. Children
The Service is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect.
